Join us on Friday, February 27th, for our annual Jog-A-Thon. It might be cold outside, but we’re turning up the heat with beachy vibes and a sunshine spirit.
The Jog-A-Thon fundraiser is one of our most impactful events of the year. Every dollar raised stays right here at Valencia, directly supporting our classrooms, our teachers, and our children.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
We are using Pledgestar to make sharing and collecting donations simple. Scan the QR code below to set up your child’s Pledgestar fundraising page or visit: https://valencia.pledgestar.com/.
From there, families can send emails to relatives, friends, coworkers, neighbors -- anyone who loves your student and may want to support our school. Student participation is measured and rewarded by the number of emails sent. Asking is participating. It doesn’t matter whether a donation is made, every email helps our school grow.
EVENT DAY
This year we’re celebrating with a Beach Party theme! Students are encouraged to come dressed in beach-inspired outfits -- think bright colors, fun patterns, and sunny accessories. Each grade level will also have its own beachy team theme and/or color to add extra spirit. Your teacher will share more details regarding run times and what to wear as we get closer to the event.
OUR SCHOOL GOAL
We are aiming to raise $50,000 to support enrichment programs, campus improvements, classroom supplies, field trips, special school-wide events, and more. Don’t forget to check if your employer offers corporate matching -- it can double your impact.
PRIZES
Classroom Rewards
Classroom prizes/parties will be awarded for top participation (one classroom from grades K–3 and one from grades 4–6) and for leaderboard honors (classrooms placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
Whole School Incentive
As we raise funds together, we’ll celebrate with fun surprises along the way beginning with raffle prizes at our January 30th flag ceremony and more as milestones are reached.

How to Use PledgeStar
For our 2026 Jog-A-Thon this year, we're using an awesome web based fundraising system that makes it much easier for you to request pledges from your family and friends, and for them to make secure credit card donations online. It's fun, it's easy, and people who use it typically raise twice as much as those who don't!
Using your computer's browser:
- Scan the QR code above or go to http://valencia.pledgestar.com/
- Click "Not Registered For This Year's Event"
- Enter your name and email address, then click "Submit"
- Follow the instructions on-screen to register Runner(s) and add family and friends
When you finish, the system emails pledge requests to your family and friends, and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made, and you can track your pledge progress online.
